The magic tropical world near to Berlin. The jungle at the Biosphere Potsdam with 20,000 tropical plants, lots of exotic animals and the hourly thunderstorm with lightning and thunder takes visitors into another world, full of excitement and jungle feeling. The tour starts at the waterfall, goes along winding paths past the butterfly house, down to the underwater world and up to canopy walkway within the crowns of the trees that grow up to the 14 meters high ceiling.

Various exhibitions, events and holiday programs give plenty of chances to gain great insight into the colourful diversity of the rain forest. Guided tours give further input to fascinating topics about the tropics. The biosphere is open all year round on 365 days.

Tip: The tropical garden with its common marmosets, the butterfly house and the underwater world offers an additional interactive experience for the whole family. The popular puzzle game takes you through the permanent exhibition "Ingenious Nature". Take the puzzle sheet with you at the cash register in the foyer and off you go to discover the wonders of nature.
