The monastery church rises up on the south side of the Klosteranlage im Stift zum Heiligengrabe Monastery: a one-nave, extended hall church. The south and west portals make it clear that the most highly-skilled builders were at work here. The interior is sober and focussed on the altar of Mary. Alongside the church is the historic cemetery with tombs of the canonesses.
