The forest teaching park covers an area of ​​70,000 m², sees itself as a regional forest education center and is accessible to everyone free of charge. The park runs through paths with a total length of 3.5 km. In the center there is a mighty refuge, which is open to everyone to linger and can be rented for a wide variety of celebrations.

A special feature is the number of more than 200 different tree species and shrubs that can be found in the forest and on a newly planted open space. The Brandenburg State Forestry Agency provides technical support for the forest teaching park.

A summer toboggan run and a natural bathing lake are nearby.
