The Alte Hof am Elbdeich restaurant, a farm dating back to 1823, is located in the Elbe-Brandenburg River Landscape Biosphere Reserve. It is directly on the Elbe dyke in the municipality of Lenzerwische between Lenzen (Brandenburg) and Dömitz (Mecklenburg) and the Wendland region of Lower Saxony on the left bank of the River Elbe. This area is an oasis of tranquillity and scenic beauty.

Guests in the restaurant with a beautiful sunny terrace and fireplace can enjoy natural regional cuisine depending on the season, home-made pasta, jams and other products, meat directly from the farm, local fish, game from the gamekeeper, Ayurvedic cuisine with local products, exciting vegan and vegetarian dishes and also gluten and lactose-free dishes. These are served with exquisite wines directly from the winegrowers and modern drinks. For dessert, guests have a choice of home-made cakes and tarts and coffee specialities.

The seasonal kitchen creates regional, fresh and modern regional specialities based on the motto “Regional quality”. Natural and delicious!

All dishes on the menu are guaranteed to have no added preservatives and flavour enhancers and do not contain processed or genetically modified products and ingredients. In addition, a take-away service is available every Saturday and Sunday between midday and 6 p.m. in the “Alter Hof Kiosk” so that guests can take home exquisite classics from the hotel restaurant's popular menu. Freshly baked cakes, ice cream, coffee specialities and a variety of other refreshments are also available on a take-away basis. The range of services is supplemented by the sale of regional specialities, such as honey, Ayurvedic herbs and linseed oil.
