The town hall of the city of Wittenberge was built in 1914 in the style of historicism. But architecture connoisseurs will also discover elements of Neo-Renaissance, Neo-Baroque and Neo-Classicism here. The building was intended to express the self-confidence of the Wittenbergers with borrowings from medieval knightly splendor. Surrounded by spacious green areas and attractive squares, it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city with its stately tower with spiked helmet and characterizes its silhouette. The mechanical movement is from 1913.

Climbing the 51 meter high tower offers a wide view of the city and the surrounding area in good weather. There is a viewing platform at a height of 37.5 meters. public tours April-October: see website.
