The Storchenhaus Abbendorf offers pure nature and relaxation. In the middle of the biosphere reserve river landscape elbe brandenburg, halfway between Hamburg and Berlin, you can really let your mind wander. Whether in the morning sun at breakfast on the veranda under the apple and pear tree or on the courtyard terrace. Eight beds, the family table in the dining room and 3000 m² garden offer space for the extended family. The clay oven in the kitchen and dining room creates a relaxed atmosphere for good conversations, game evenings or family get-togethers, even in winter.

The house has been carefully renovated using traditional building materials and has eight beds in four rooms, two of which have double beds and two have single beds. One bedroom is on the ground floor and the remaining three on the 1st floor. On the ground floor there is a large bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet and another toilet is in the laundry room, which also houses the washing machine. The bathroom on the first floor has a shower and toilet. The kitchen on the ground floor is fully equipped with a dining area for four to six people.

The house has central heating; A clay stove between the kitchen and dining room provides additional radiant heat, which is heated with wood. The family table in the dining room seats up to 16 people. The living room offers a cozy sitting area with a Biedermeier sofa, armchairs and a game table.

For cyclists there is a small workshop in the garden, which is equipped with the most important tools and an air pump. Another building serves as a storage space for bicycles and as a drying area for laundry. Garden furniture is available for both the front porch and the garden terrace. There is a grill for the garden terrace.
