The Deichhof Garsedow guest house is situated in the grounds of a traditional four-sided courtyard, which is under monument protection, just one kilometre from the gates of the town of Wittenberge. The guest house (built in 2014) is charmingly furnished in a rural historic style. A country-style breakfast is included. On request, barbecue evenings, the outside oven or the Dutch oven can be arranged for groups. The storehouse is under monument protection, is the oldest half-timbered storehouse in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and is one of the five oldest buildings of its kind in Germany. The building complex lies directly on the Elbdeich dyke area and on the Elbe Cycle Path in the Unesco Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve. A wide range of leisure activities is available, from hiking, cycling to water tourism. Guests can select from a single room, twin room and double bed room and a two-room four-bed family room.
