The Wegemuseum organises events and special exhibitions relating to the subject of paths, trails and roads, their impact on the people who use them or live with them, and their importance for communication.

The Wegemuseum, the library, the Alter Laden Galerie cultural space and the tourist information centre are combined in the centrally located and picturesque Herbst’sche House. This building was built by August Herbst, overlooking the market square in Wusterhausen and forms an attractive place for culture, education and meeting for the region and the surrounding area.
