Eldenburg Castle was the headquarters of the Eldenburg line of the Quitzow family. Only Quitzow Tower and the Tithe Store still remain of the former castle and palace. Only minimal remains of the former moat, which once surrounded the entire complex, have been preserved in the grounds of the estate. Quitzow Tower houses the "Quitzow Chair", an instrument of torture about which many legends have been told. The grounds are freely accessible. The tower also houses an exhibition of agricultural machinery. At the entrance of the tower there is a display with contact people to open the exhibition.
