The SINGER clock tower was built in 1928/29 as a water tower to supply the SINGER sewing machine factory. The clock of the tower is still regarded as one of the largest tower clocks in Europe. However, the original clock mechanism is no longer fitted. The clock is controlled by radio from the Braunschweig Physics Institute.

In an exhibition, visitors can learn all about sewing machine production and the life and work of the company's employees in the factory. Original sewing, knitting and ironing machines are all displayed. On the upper floor, a special exhibition illustrates the life of Isaak Merritt Singer and SINGER AG.

On the 6th floor there is a panoramic view over Wittenberge. In the museum shop you can buy small souvenirs and refreshments.
