An experience full of contrasts: From Löwenberg railway station, the tour leads across wide fields and along the wooded and surprisingly hilly shore of the Great Lankesee to the generously laid out Lenné Park at Liebenberg Castle & Estate. What a splendid park - no strictly zigzagged paths, no copses cut into geometric shapes, but simply an atmospheric landscape park with a pond, old trees and plenty of space for guests.

We continue on less frequented roads via Bergsdorf and Häsen in the direction of Gransee. But stop! If you're out and about on Sundays, you should definitely stop off in the pretty village of Kraatz: The Kraatz Cultural Garden is open to the public: A large herb garden, a meadow orchard and works of art from the owner's studio await. They also indulge in the art of baking!

Gransee railway station is only a stopover for now, but it will be a good place to start the journey home later. First there is one more loop on the programme.

This is mainly on well-maintained cycle paths around Lake Geron to Rauschendorf. More cake? Of course! The Fontane Garden in Rauschendorf is somewhat hidden behind a brick wall. But when the gate opens at the weekend, the lush flowering shrubs reveal the cake and coffee counter. It's worth swapping the saddle for the deck chair for a while here!
