The second stage of the Berlin – Copenhagen Cycle Route covers a stretch of 37 kilometres from Oranienburg to Zehdenick. Running constantly along the River Havel – parallel to the Havel Cycle Path – it initially goes to Liebenwalde and then on to Zehdenick.

How to get there: From Berlin central station take the RE5 (Stralsund) to Oranienburg (approximately 30 minutes).

Return journey: Take the RB12 (Ostkreuz) from Zehdenick to Oranienburg. From here take the RE5 (Wünsdorf-Waldstadt) (approximately 1 hour).

Route: Oranienburg, Bernöwe, Liebenwalde, Krewelin, Zehdenick

  • Oranienburg: Palace and park, Oranienwerk – centre of culture and creativity, Sachsenhausen Memorial Site and Museum, Biokräuterei Oberhavel organic herb centre
