The park with a bronze statue in the centre is a reminder, like the triumphal column in Hakenberg, of the Great Elector’s victory over the Swedish army in 1675.

This victory at the Battle of Fehrbellin is considered to be the moment when Brandenburg-Prussia was born.

Today, you can enjoy the peace under the shade of the trees or enjoy the music and cultural programmes at regular events such as the Fehrbelliner Festtagen and Fehrbelliner Rocknacht festivals on the stage in the park.
