The Restaurant am Backsteinhaus is the heart of Schwante manor estate. Here you can eat, dance and celebrate. Guests can enjoy an aperitif after a walk in the park in the afternoon sun, and children can play badminton, ludo or hide-and-seek.

The menu is small but offers excellent quality. There are salads, hot dishes and cake – in the summer months guests are offered self-service from the garden kitchen, while in autumn there is an à la carte choice in the restaurant. Everything is home-made and each dish has its own distinctive twist. The cocktails are mixed with ingredients from the garden and the brandies and wines are purchased from associated manufacturers.
