The historic water tower – built around 1900 – now houses a café, among other things. The industrial charm can still be clearly felt in the listed former water tanks of the tower. Delicious ice cream specialities and homemade cakes are served with coffee and tea under the high brick vaulted ceiling. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks round off what is on offer.
During opening hours, anyone who is interested can climb to the top of the 40-metre high tower and enjoy the view over Zehdenick to the television tower in Berlin. There is also a natural campsite in the grounds of the water tower. The Berlin-Copenhagen Long Distance Cycle Route passes by the water tower just a few hundred metres away. Regular events such as concerts and exhibitions take place here.
