The family-friendly and idyllic circular hiking trail along the Binenbach leads through the heart of Ruppiner Schweiz. The torrent flows through a small, natural valley from which forested hills rise on both sides. Only a few steps away from the turning point of the circular trail, there is a beautiful bathing place at the Kalksee. It is also possible to make a side tour from here to the small village of Binenwalde, where the Sabinen monument honors the wife of the forester Ernst Ludewig Cusig, who gave her name to the village and the stream. In the 18th century, the forester had concluded an inheritance contract with the Royal Prussian War and Domain Chamber for a colony at Kalksee.
