The Historische Mönchmühle in Mühlenbecker Land, a living cultural monument, combines history, nature and community in a unique way. As a traditional monument with origins dating back to the Middle Ages, the mill invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of the monks and experience the technology of bygone times at first hand. The museum tells the story of the mill, which once processed grain into flour, and can be explored on your own during opening hours or on guided tours by appointment, including outside of regular hours for school groups. A 360-degree tour offers insights into the mill building and grounds. The mill café serves seasonal delicacies in an idyllic atmosphere. Regular events such as the mill festival, exhibitions in the mill gallery and concerts create moments of encounter for all generations. The prestigious Mönchmühlensaal, supplemented by other usable rooms from the renovated former miller's apartment, and the grounds are available for hire for private parties, institutional events or club meetings.
