The Storchenschmiede is an information centre where you can find out everything there is to know about storks and cranes. Numerous events and guided tours are also available: both bird species can easily be observed on site. The village of Linum is the habitat of large numbers of storks. The nearby Linum Ponds is one of the largest crane resting places in Central Europe. In spring and autumn, tens of thousands of cranes and wild geese rest here.
