There is a small but lovely bathing area on the banks of Lake Baalensee. Coming from the town via the pedestrian bridge, you come to a small path on the right in just a few metres that leads down to the bank. After just a few metres, you will have reached the bathing area with the narrow strip of natural sand. Benches are provided to sit on and you can train on a fitness device before or after swimming. The surrounding trees provide shade. The park is only open to pedestrians and cyclists. The nearest parking area is across the bridge in the centre of Fürstenberg/Havel.
