The Hedwig Bollhagen Museum in the “stove town” of Velten, newly opened in 2015, is definitely worth a visit and forms a joint museum site together with the adjoining stove and ceramic museum. It is also worth taking a tour through the town centre with its listed town hall and “Töppervillen”, which are the extensively renovated homes of the former factory owners, dating back to the age of rapid industrial expansion in Germany. Prosperity is still evident today in the town that experienced its economic peak with nearly forty stove factories around the year 1900.

Whether you are looking for sights, exhibitions, cycle paths, events, recreation or interesting facts about the town - the  Information Centre in the town of Velten will be happy to advise you.
