Path condition: predominantly paved

Arrival: RB 36 to Müllrose

Departure: RB 43 or RE 10 from Neuzelle

Route description

The tour begins in Müllrose, a former farming town located on the shores of Großer Müllroser See. Points of interest include the baroque parish church, the Schlaubetal Nature Park Center, and the still-operational Müllroser Mill with its shop.

Well-maintained cycle paths lead through the nature-rich Schlaubetal, known for its diverse flora and fauna. The route continues via Ragower Mühle, Mixdorf, and Siehdichum through forests and small villages with local museums, village churches, and traditional inns. In Dammendorf, the Heath Farming and Forestry Museum is worth a visit.

The tour ends in Neuzelle. The baroque monastery complex with collegiate church, orangery, baroque gardens, and the “Heavenly Theater” museum is one of the few completely preserved monastic ensembles in Europe. From the upper terrace, there is a wide view over the Oder lowlands.

Additional tips:

Best time: ideal as a day tour from spring to autumn

Equipment: weatherproof clothing, binoculars recommended for nature observation
