Route description

The tour begins at Strausberg Stadt station and first follows the shore of Straussee, passing the oldest electrically operated cable ferry in Europe. Via Rehfelde and Garzau, the route leads to the fieldstone pyramid in the landscaped park of the same name.

In Buckow – the heart of the Märkische Schweiz – restaurants and cultural sites such as the Brecht-Weigel House invite a break. The trail continues through the Stobbertal valley to Ihlow, a well-known filming location for the Krause movies, and ends after approx. 50 km at Strausberg Airfield.
