Magical places, quiet lakes and winding paths almost like in a small jungle. In addition, the mill trade from yesteryear: it's almost like in a fairytale in the Schlaubetal Nature Park. But this enchanting area really exists. A bicycle tour through this charming region promises not only the enjoyment of nature at its best, but also a cycle tour back in time.

The times when the Schlaube drove mills with their water have unfortunately passed. To this day, the mill wheels and the sound of the water that drives them have not lost their fascination. The first mill is in Müllrose. The large building is the oldest and the last mill of the Schlaubetal, which still grinds to this day.

Now it is also possible to eat in some of them. The Kaisermühle on the Oder-Spree Canal is now a restaurant and hotel. A stop at the Ragower Mill is like a little journey through time. It is the only mill in the Schlaubetal where it survived the times to this day. And eating well is also possible here.

Rare animal and plant species live in the Schlaubetal. With a bit of luck, a sea eagle circles in the air or let a black woodpecker sound its hammering. The Schervenzsee is great for a break. If you want to refresh yourself, make a stopover here and jump into the clear water of the lake.

Start / finish: Müllrose
