The Neißewelle bridge over the Lusatian Neisse between Coschen and Żytowań, which was released in 2014, makes it easier for hikers and cyclists to explore the eastern bank of the Lusatian Neisse, where the Krzesiński Park Krajobrazowy nature reserve is located. On an area of 8,546 hectares, of which just over 4,700 hectares are in the northern part of the park, the southern part is dominated by the alluvial forests and floodplain meadows, with the typical plant and animal species, including around 150 species of birds, lizards, snakes and 33 species of Mammals, including beavers and bats, include. The park's visitors are predominantly nature lovers or individual tourists looking for adventure. Such an adventure could be the search for the way to the headland between the confluence of the Oder and the Neisse, where the Cross of Encounter, which was erected after the Oder flood in 1997, is located. It symbolizes the mutual willingness of the residents of both banks to get involved, among other things, for the protection of the natural river landscapes. It is also thought provoking and helps develop a feel for the ancient landscape.

On the journey to Kosarzyn and further to the Boracksee (Jezioro Borek) or further by ferry to Połęcko, both Coschen and the twin towns of Guben / Gubin can be chosen as starting points. The short distance and the route to the Boracksee (Jezioro Borek) also invite untrained and young cyclists. The bridge can be selected for the first stop. From the Neisse wave, the first view is of the river, which will flow into the Oder not far north of the bridge. From there it is only two kilometers to the Boracksee. With its recreational opportunities and gastronomy, it is a starting point for summer excursions and bathing joys from the region.
