Nature of the route: partly loose, partly paved surface
Route: Buckow market square (Märkische Schweiz), along the Königsstraße, Münchehofe, Obersdorf, Hermersdorf, Altfriedland, Tornow, Buckow market square (Märkische Schweiz)
Arrival/departure:
  • Take the S5 in the direction of Hoppegarten to Berlin-Mahlsdorf; continue with the RB26 to Müncheberg; then take the 928 bus to Buckow. Return journey in the opposite direction.

Route description

Start on the Europaradweg R1 in the direction of Münchehofe. Continue along field and forest paths to Hermersdorf. An old asphalt and paved road leads past the Lapnower Mühle trout farm via Karlsdorf to Altfriedland and the Langen Haus.

The route returns to Buckow (Märkische Schweiz) through the Stobbertal nature reserve. In the Kneipp spa town of Buckow, it is worth visiting the Brecht-Weigel-Haus (museum) and the Schweizer Haus - the nature park's visitor center. Numerous cafés and restaurants invite you to round off the evening in Buckow.
