You won't find anywhere more typical of the Oderbruch (former marshland) than the area between Neulietzegöricke and Zollbrücke on this trip called the “Von Pappeln and Poeten” Tour (From Poplars to Poets Tour)! Let yourself be enchanted by the light of the Oderbruch (former marshland) and the charm of Neulietzegöricke, the oldest colonist village, which is also one of the most beautiful places in the Oderbruch (former marshland). You can get the key to the restored Schinkelkirche church at the Kolonisten Kaffee café.
Tip: Do the tour at the weekend and visit the "Theater am Rand” theatre in Zollbrücke - one of the most unusual stages in the country. On the return journey, it's worth stopping off in Wriezen, the old Oderbruch trading centre. You can round off your trip with a culinary delight at the “Juani” Italian restaurant.
