Quite early the landscape conservation area along the Spree shows its most beautiful side. The unspoiled banks, lush meadows and dense reed beds with the animals living in them start the day together with you. The longest two-day stage section with about 42 km is right at the beginning of the big Märkische Umfahrt and might bring a little headwind. The longest tour section of the Märkische Umfahrt also holds the first adventures with two locks before reaching the destination in Briesen. You start at the boathouse in the Spreepark in Beeskow and follow the course of the river Drahendorfer Spree into the Spree, where there is a former forester's lodge on the opposite bank. As an alternative, we recommend the tour section from Beeskow to Raß - mannsdorf with 14 km (pension in the village) or the overnight stay on one of the water hiking rest areas, for example in Neubrück (18 km).

  • Beeskow lock (automatic operation after individual activation)
  • Neubrück lock
