Streleburg Friedland is one of the three castles of the Knights of Strele and is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Brandenburg. Its roots go back to the 14th century, when it was first mentioned in a document. After an eventful history, a town fire and reconstruction in the 17th century, it still characterizes the townscape of Friedland today.

The castle houses a lovingly furnished museum apartment, which provides an insight into 100 years of domestic culture. Exhibitions on local wildlife and historical everyday objects offer exciting discoveries, especially for children. The gallery shows changing art exhibitions and, with a bit of luck, you may come across the legendary “White Lady”.

Guided tours of the castle and Friedland are available by prior arrangement. Events are regularly held in the historic setting, and various rooms - from the Knights' Hall to the Fireside Room - are available for celebrations and conferences. The castle courtyard with its covered stage is suitable for events for up to 300 people. Toilets are located in the basement of the castle (not barrier-free).
