The church in Seelow was built in 1630 and re-built by K. F. Schinkel in 1830/32, after it had been damaged in a fire. The church was destroyed on April 1, 1945. It was rebuilt in 1956 without a tower. Thanks to support from a friends’ association, the tower was reconstructed on the occasion of Seelow’s 750th birthday in 2002.
