The brewery and distillery is part of the Altlandsberg castle estate and was built in 1685 by Otto Reichsfreiherr von Schwerin. Of course, beer is also brewed on the castle estate - in keeping with the tradition of historic estates. According to the motto: "Beer needs its home", beers are produced individually and by hand in Altlandsberg according to the brewers' recipes.

Three house beers are produced first and foremost - the "Altlandsberger Edel Hell", the spicy "Altlandsberger Cupfer" and the dark "Altlandsberger Nachtwächter", as well as other seasonal beers such as Pale Ale (craft beer), Hefeweizen and Bock beers. 

The beers are produced using selected top quality malts and high quality hop products. Special yeasts and local water round out the beer notes. Compliance with the German Purity Law is a point of honor. The matured beers are served naturally without stabilization and pasteurization. The light yeast cloudiness contains the valuable vitamin B complex. 



The typical Altlandsberg beers, liqueurs and brandies can be enjoyed in the brewing and distilling house or purchased in the town information store to take home in siphons.
