The Lakes Großer and Kleiner Pohlitzer See are managed by Schlaubefisch e. G. They are connected by a stream and situated in a triangle between Eisenhüttenstadt, Siehdichum and Ziltendorf. Lake Kleiner Pohlitzer See to the north has a water surface of some 40 hectares, while its counterpart is somewhat larger at 47 hectares. Both are up to about three metres deep and have a snag-free bottom. Access by car is not possible everywhere, but active anglers will find a good spot on foot with a manageable backpack or bring a small boat along with them to explore the lake from the water. Both lakes are ideal for those who love fine fishing for roach, bream, white bream and rudd. A feed basket is a good way to make a catch here. After dark, eels become active and are regularly caught in both lakes.
