The Karutzsee is located directly on Albert-Kiekebusch-Weg, part of the Märkische Runde and was originally part of the Erkneran spa park. Even wine was cultivated here at one point. On the hiking trail you can walk around the lake to the Karutzhöhe colony. Resting places and benches are provided for you to take a break on the shore. Fishing (also at night) is permitted in Lake Karutzsee from the shore; the water is between 0.5 and 1.5 metres deep.
