The lake is managed by the fishing company Karl-Heinz Weidner, based in Grunow-Dammendorf. Catches include eel, carp, pike and tench. Fishing permits are available directly from the leaseholder. When fishing, the regulations of the Schlaubetal Nature Park must be observed.
