The TRAFO.1 gallery is the smallest gallery in Brandenburg and is located in a unique, secluded spot in Regenmantel, a quiet spot just outside the 700-year-old community of Falkenhagen. Here, in the midst of nature, a window to art opens: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, visitors can discover the work of regional and national artists.

A new way of presenting art

The TRAFO.1 gallery was launched in 2012 and offers art in places where you wouldn't expect it. Through a window and at the touch of a button, hikers and other interested parties get a glimpse of the exhibitors' works - an invitation to experience art in the midst of untouched nature.

The extension: TRAFO.2 and TRAFO.3

In August 2013, the gallery was expanded to include TRAFO.2 in Dolgelin. Here, art is shown in an old cradle house from 1958. In addition, rustic works of art made of wood by gallery owner Karl Witzleben are exhibited at both locations, inviting visitors to linger. The art journey continued in 2016 with TRAFO.3 in Reitwein, where the hike along unexplored art trails continues.

Art always and everywhere

TRAFO.1+2 stands for art that is accessible at all times - without admission, without restrictions. With the Kunstregen e.V. association as a supporter, the path of art always remains exciting and unexpected, open to all who want to embark on the journey
