Ingrid Harks-Hanke lives and works in Berlin and in the Oderbruch. She studied at the Berlin Art Academy and graduated from the class of Andreas Amrhein with a master's degree. Since 1997 she has commuted between Berlin and Neuhardenberg, district of Quappendorf. She brings working methods and techniques from her home city and enriches these in the Oderbruch with the themes of “Oder burbots” and “Schinkel buildings on both sides of the Oder”.
