Fire – water – air – earth: these are elements that can fuel passion. My passion is wood – especially the veneer that is made from it. For about 15 years I have worked intensely on manufacture of objects from fine veneers. In doing so I have passed through an intense learning process which is by no means complete. The world of veneers is so unique that every leaf you take in your hand demands your full attention. In addition to marquetry, which is based on the assembly of the veneer pieces, there are also veneers that produce wonderful images when mirrored.
