The Henzendorf boulder and field stone park is located on the edge of the Henzendorf Heath in the Schlaubetal Nature Park. Over 2000 erratic blocks, pagan deities and runic tablets have been artistically staged on an area of 4 hectares. Embedded in the heath landscape, an impressive ensemble was created here in the early 1990s, inviting visitors to linger, stroll and picnic.

The open-air exhibition shows worked and unworked erratic blocks as well as sculptures, reliefs and figures designed by artists from Poland and Berlin based on Celtic and Hittite models. A display board provides information about the project, which was initiated by sculptor Ulrich Thiel.

Especially during the heather blossom in August and September, the adjacent observation tower offers a sweeping view over the purple-coloured heath landscape.

How to get there: By car: A 12 motorway exit Frankfurt (Oder)-Mitte, continue on the B 112 to Neuzelle and L 452 to Henzendorf
