The village of Grünheide (Mark) lies on the eastern edge of Berlin set amid an idyllic lakeland and forest landscape. The nearby herb garden can be explored according to individual test and visitors can pick their own herbs. With a view over the calm, clear lake, you can relax in a wicker beach chair or enjoy a cool drink in the beer garden. Relaxation and slowing down the pace of life is important here. All leisure activities can be pursued in the park. There are various sports and play facilities as well as sandpits for younger guests, and full accessibility means that the park is equally popular among all generations.

Visitors can also set off from here on a boat tour across Lake Petzsee from the steamer station and landing stage run by the shipping company Stern- und Kreisschifffahrtsgesellschaft. One particular highlight of the park is an integrated voice-based information column.
