Originally founded by a fisherman, the cuisine of the Fischhaus Wendisch Rietz restaurant stands for freshness, regionality, sustainability and the modern interpretation of traditional dishes. Regional fish species are sourced from local fishermen in the surrounding waters. Sea fish is sourced from other trusted fisheries.

A seasonal menu is supplemented by the daily specials depending on the current catch. Selected meat and vegetarian dishes round off the menu. Special menus and specialties are offered for special holidays and occasions.

All year round, the sunny lakeside terrace and the cozy dining room with open fireplace invite you to linger. Private and business celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, youth consecrations and Christmas parties can be arranged on request.

Fish deli

The delicious fish sandwiches, snacks and drinks as well as the home-smoked fish specialties can be taken away or eaten on the deli terrace. Online reservations can be made on the website.

The surroundings

A walk across the romantic wooden bridge to the fish house on the peninsula on the Kleiner Glubigsee lake is enough to make you forget everyday life. Water lilies bloom on the water, fishing boats are moored on the jetty and the dreamy house with its characteristic thatched roof exudes North Sea flair. This stylish ambience attracts locals, water hikers and gourmets from near and far to the outskirts of Wendisch-Rietz in the Mark Brandenburg.

The lake and river landscape invites you to take long walks. Whether to the lock in Wendisch Rietz or to the Möllendorfer Heide nature reserve - the team at Fischhaus Glubigsee will be happy to advise you.
