The Mühlenklause is one of the most popular day-tripper restaurants in the heart of the Dorchetal valley. Located directly on the "Kleine Dorche" brook, you can have a snack here at the regulars' table. Here everything is homemade using regional products, including delicious kettle goulash, fresh fish and homemade cake. There were once six mills along the Dorchebach brook. Today only the "Schwerzkoer Mühle" mill is left, which houses a show sawmill with mill room. At special occasions or by appointment, they host a show demonstration of the saw frame. This old technology is very popular with young and old. You can also pre-book a guided tour. The mill shop offers a wide range of regional specialities. Here you can find everything from mill bread fresh from the oven and homemade jams to souvenirs from the region.
