Description

The certified Schlaubetal hiking trail runs for 28 kilometers through a varied and unspoilt landscape. The starting point is the small farming town of Müllrose with a view of the largest lake in the Schlaubetal. Along the shore and through pine forests, the trail runs through boggy meadow landscapes and past the rare brown moss moor.

Behind the Belenzsee lake, the Schlaube becomes visible for the first time and accompanies the trail to the historic Ragower Mühle mill. Further stops are the Mittelmühle mill, the meander view and the bridge at the Kupferhammer.

The stream meanders leisurely through the terrain between small lakes. In Siehdichum, the secluded forester's lodge invites you to take a break.

The route offers a variety of natural scenery: tranquil lakes, riverside trees, beech forests and shady gorges. Fish are still farmed at the Kieselwitz mill.

Finally, the view opens up into the Schlaube Canyon - the end point of an impressive hike through one of the most charming stream landscapes in Brandenburg.
