Route description: For one of the most beautiful views across the lake and to enjoy some culinary delights, you should visit the famous Café Dorsch on the southern edge of Bad Saarow. Between the A-ROSA Resort on Lake Scharmützelsee and the Schwarzhorn camp site, the nature trail provides a wealth of information about the surrounding countryside. Natural bathing areas are ideal for a little break and are enjoyed by keen swimmers young and old. Wendisch Rietz is a paradise that the whole family will love. There are leisure activities to suit everyone here, from fishing through cutter and boat trips to surfing and boating. The award-winning SATAMA sauna complex with its own sauna theatre and beauty treatments is guaranteed to give a sense of well-being. With its inviting bathing areas, leisure park with children’s farm, playgrounds and small sports areas, visitors will never be bored. So it’s no wonder that the state-approved resort was designated by the state of Brandenburg as a Family- and Child-Friendly Community in 2009.
