The city tour takes you to the origins of the city of Frankfurt (Oder), along the Friedenskirche church located there and the nearby Lennépark. The city tour starts at the historic market square right next to the German-Polish Tourist Information Office. During a visit to the tourist information office, tourist and cultural information can be passed on directly at first hand. Passing St. Mary's Church, with its unique stained glass windows and wonderful views, you reach Lennépark. The second oldest civic park in Germany was designed by Peter Joseph Lenné and offers a green oasis in the middle of the city. The city archive contains the city's historical memory, bundled together in collected works and exhibitions dating back to its foundation in the 13th century. At the end of the park, a memorial plaque commemorates the founding of the venerable Viadrina University.

The route leads to the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Concert Hall. The former Franciscan church is home to the Brandenburg State Orchestra and invites you to enjoy a variety of music and exhibitions.

There is a small museum on the Oder, which is a memorial dedicated to the victims of political tyranny under National Socialism. The Friedenskirche, Frankfurt's oldest church, also rises up into the sky nearby. On the way back to the starting point, you will finally pass the Viadrina Museum. A tour of the contemporary history museum gives visitors an insight into a comprehensive collection of historical objects relating to the development of the city and region.
