This route takes you through the historical and cultural highlights of Altlandsberg and offers a relaxed and comfortable tour. It starts at the Berlin Gate Tower, the oldest part of the town fortifications dating back to the 13th century. It continues along the partially preserved town wall with its historic towers. The path leads past the impressive town hall, which was built between 1910 and 1912, and on to the stork's nest, a popular spot during stork season. The route continues to the monument to Otto Freiherr von Schwerin with a view of the castle park and the former castle church, which is now used for cultural events. The tour ends with a visit to the late Romanesque town church of St Marien and the park of the Altlandsberg castle estate, where you can admire the redesigned park and the baroque pool. At the Alltandsberg castle estate, there is plenty of history and culinary delights to discover. In addition to ceramics, soaps and information material, the regional shop also sells juices, jams, wines and, of course, locally brewed beer. The neighbouring restaurant in the castle estate offers the perfect opportunity to take a break and recharge your batteries.  From here you can walk back to the car park or enjoy the tranquillity of the park and be picked up.
