The Kobbelner Stein, the largest erratic boulder in the region, is worth admiring. During the Ice Age, enormous forces transported the granite stone from the Danish island of Bornholm to Kobbeln. It was uncovered in the 20th century and has been a popular destination for young and old ever since. In the last few years, the inhabitants of Kobbeln have turned the area around the stone into a beautiful site and set up a "classroom in the green". In addition to the numerous information boards that provide information about the flora and fauna, there are also numerous activities that playfully sharpen the senses. There are many places to sit and relax or have a picnic.

Only a few metres from the Großer Stein is the "Schönen Blick". Here you can enjoy the view over Kobbeln and the vastness of the fields and meadows.
