In 1913, an expansion of the existing Kalkberge District Court took place with the construction of an additional commercial building at what is now Hans-Striegelski-Strasse 5, which was completed on April 1, 1914. This two-winged corner building of today's Rüdersdorf municipal administration was to serve as the business premises of the Kalkberge district court. From 1914 to 1918, the building served as a military hospital for the wounded of the 1st World War. After that, court officials and lawyers moved into the offices on the 1st and 2nd floors and the apartments on the upper floor. After the end of the war in 1945, a polyclinic with night sanatorium was established. In 1968, the municipal administration moved into the rooms. Today, the former district court is still the seat of the town hall of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin.
