The "Mühle-Lemke" is one of the last overshot water mills in Berlin and Brandenburg. In 1798, a fulling mill was built for the clothier factory by the Stienitz trench in Strausberg. The clothier committed to building two wooden bridges over the trench, one above the mill and another below. The mill burnt down in 1848 and was replaced by a water mill, which was built in 1858 by Ernst Schießer. The new mill was turned into a modern and efficient, electrically powered grinding mill and was fitted with a new wheel. The mill has been family-owned since 1870 and is currently being run by the fifth generation.

The mill can be viewed and also offers guided tours. A guided tour takes about 45 minutes. Please register in advance (groups of at least 5 people).

A bakery opened up next to the mill. It is still in use today and the two large old ovens can be viewed.

There is also a farm shop and a café on the premises, which sells, among other things, regional products and products made on site.
