Viadrus is the name of the river god of the River Oder, and of the river itself. The god of the Oder is represented by a red sheet steel figure. This figure stands on the “Feldherrenhügel” in the Güstebieser Loose district, opposite the ferry landing stage. The river god Viadrus is depicted looking north, down the River Oder.

There are often flooded meadows or flat water zones here in the spring, where all sorts of species can be observed including migratory birds stopping here for a rest. The asphalted cycle path on the top of the dike is a good observation point.
