This modern equestrian centre is not only a paradise for children, because it offers everything from horse stables, through vaulting for children, riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders to guided rides, horse-drawn carriage rides and children’s summer holidays with horses. The stables and floodlit riding arena are well looked after and very popular. Well-trained trainers would be delighted to meet you, and horse trekkers and cyclists are welcome too.

The Zehe equestrian centre is home to 36 horses, three Scottish highland cows, fallow deer, goats and cats in Behlendorf.

Reit- und Fahrverein Gutshof Behlendorf e.V. was established in September 1990. It was originally part of the community sports association “VEG (Z) Tierzucht Heinersdorf”. Today, the association has over 40 members aged between 6 and 65. The association should be regarded as forming an entity with the Zehe equestrian centre, because in 2021 the association found a wonderful home at the Zehe family farm on Am Finkenberg street, in a welcoming stable with spacious boxes, paddocks and meadow paddocks, a floodlit riding arena, indoor riding arena, a driving path and more. Horses and riders feel very at home here. There is even a “horse pond” by Lake Heinersdorfer See so that horses and riders can cool off in the summer months.

Not only can children learn to ride here; many adults can also have the chance to rest and recover from the stress of everyday life on a ride into the magnificent natural landscape around

Lake Heinersdorfer See or in the riding arena in a training session. Horses and two qualified trainers are available for riding lessons. The youngest association members meet for vaulting sessions every Sunday morning.

The highlight of each year is the Heinersdorf Park Tournament in August. Association members have been amongst the winners every year. The association is proud of its open day, floodlit riding day in October and many other highlights of association life.
