The exhibition by the local history club Hohensaaten is located in a former stable building on the village road of Hohensaaten. A selection of tools, household items and furniture, as well as documents and other evidence of the local cultural heritage are presented in four rooms. The exhibits provide for an insight into the history of the former fishing and shipping village. The highlight is a 90 centimetres long mammoth bone from the Hohensaaten gravel pit.
